[UPDATED OCTOBER 2026]
Looking for Christmas gift fairs in Oxfordshire in 2026? I'll be taking my handmade vintage hair accessories to a selection of Christmas markets and makers' fairs in Thame, Oxford city centre, Waterperry Gardens, Lopemede Farm and Woodstock throughout November and December.

If you're hunting for unusual Christmas gifts for women, shopping for someone who loves vintage style, or simply fancy treating yourself to something special for party season, I'd love you to come and see me.

The accessories I bring to fairs are a completely different collection from those available on my website and Etsy shop. Every piece is individually handmade from genuine vintage jewellery, so there's always something new to discover.

Here's where you'll find me this Christmas, what I'll be bringing and a few tips to help you make the most of your visit.

Where to find me at Oxfordshire Christmas gift fairs in 2026

Thame Artists & Makers Fair – Saturday 7 November

Thame Town Hall, High Street, Thame, OX9 3DP

10am–4pm

My first fair of the season takes me to Thame Town Hall, where I'll be joining a wonderful selection of independent artists and makers.

It's a lovely opportunity to browse handmade gifts from local businesses, and you can come and see my collection of vintage hair accessories in person.

The Oxford Etsy Christmas Market brings together more than 70 independent makers and sellers in the beautiful University Examination Schools.

You'll find handmade jewellery, artwork, ceramics, clothing, stationery, vintage pieces and plenty of other unusual gift ideas. Entry is free, too.

If you enjoy shopping on Etsy, this is a chance to meet some of the makers behind the shops, including me!

Waterperry Gardens hosts two Christmas market weekends, with handmade arts and crafts, festive food and drink, and plenty of Christmas shopping opportunities.

Woodstock Festive Fayre is held across three venues in the historic town centre: St Mary Magdalene Church, The Oxfordshire Museum and The Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum.

There's a fantastic variety of independent makers and craftspeople, and it's a great opportunity to explore Woodstock's shops and cafés as well as the fair itself.

The Saturday also coincides with Woodstock's Night of a Thousand Candles celebrations, making this an especially festive weekend to visit.

What vintage hair accessories will I be bringing?

I make all my accessories by hand, using genuine vintage and antique jewellery that I've restored, repaired or repurposed.

You'll find a mixture of pieces suitable for everyday wear, Christmas parties and special occasions, including:

  • Vintage hair pins – from smaller, lightweight designs suitable for fine or short hair to larger statement pieces that look wonderful in an updo.

  • Jewelled hair combs – vintage settings with colourful glass stones, rhinestones, pearls and occasionally hand-painted details.

  • Vintage headbands and tiaras – for anyone who enjoys a more decorative hairstyle or has a special occasion coming up.

  • Hair clips and barrettes – an easy way to add something unusual to an everyday hairstyle.

As each accessory is handmade from an original vintage jewellery piece, no two are quite alike.

And remember, my craft fair collection is separate from everything available in my online shops. Even if you've recently browsed my website or Etsy shop, you'll find a different selection when you visit me at a fair.

Why shop at a Christmas craft fair?

I love being able to meet customers in person and show them how my accessories have been made.

Shopping online is convenient, but there's something quite different about seeing the colours, stones and details of a piece for yourself. You can pick it up, see its size and get a much better idea of how it might look when worn.

If you're buying a gift, I'm always happy to help you work out which style might suit the recipient. Whether they love colourful vintage fashion, have short hair, prefer something discreet or enjoy making a statement, we can usually find something that fits.

You'll also be supporting independent makers directly. And because you're buying in person, there's no waiting for the post!

Tips for making the most of your Oxfordshire Christmas fair visit

A little planning can make Christmas fair shopping much more enjoyable.

Make a day of it. Many of these events are held in lovely towns or venues worth exploring. Combine your shopping with lunch, a wander around the independent shops or a stop for tea and cake. Popular cafés and restaurants can get busy on fair days, so booking ahead is worth considering.

Bring a larger shopping bag. Most independent makers will have small paper bags for purchases, but carrying several of them around can be awkward, especially if it's raining. A reusable shopping bag makes things much easier.

Arrive early if you're looking for something particular. With one-of-a-kind pieces, there's only ever one of each design. Shopping early gives you the widest choice.

Let me know if you're searching for a particular colour or style. If you've got something specific in mind, feel free to contact me before the event. I can let you know what I have and see whether I can bring some suitable options along.

Ask for advice. If you're unsure which type of hair accessory would suit a particular hairstyle or gift recipient, please ask. I'm always happy to help, even if that means suggesting something from one of my online collections instead.

Looking for an unusual Christmas gift for someone who has everything?

Vintage hair accessories can be a lovely alternative to the usual jewellery, perfume or accessories.

They're particularly nice gifts for women who love vintage fashion, unusual jewellery or beautiful things with a bit of history.

Every Vintage Adornments piece begins with genuine vintage jewellery, often rescued from being forgotten or discarded. I repair and repurpose those original pieces to make something that can be worn and enjoyed again.

There's no mass production involved, and each finished accessory is different.

Of course, you don't have to be buying Christmas presents. If you've got a party coming up, or have simply spotted something you love, I'm very much in favour of a little self-gifting too!

Hope to see you at a Christmas fair in Oxfordshire!

Whether you're coming to shop for Christmas presents, searching for a hair accessory for yourself or just enjoy browsing handmade treasures, I'd love to meet you.

You'll find me at fairs in Thame, Oxford, Waterperry Gardens, Lopemeade Farm and Woodstock throughout November and December 2026.

And if you can't make it to any of the events, you can always browse the different collections in my website shop and Etsy shop.

Happy Christmas shopping, and I hope to see you at a fair!
