Vintage Adornments Hairpins Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter
This giveaway is organised by Vintage Adornments, a UK business specialising in handmade hair accessories created from genuine vintage jewellery.

2. Eligibility
The giveaway is open to individuals who are legally resident in:
The United Kingdom
The United States of America (all 50 states and Washington, DC)
Entrants must be aged 18 or over, or the legal age of majority in their place of residence if higher.
Residents of all other countries and territories are excluded.
People directly involved in organising or administering the giveaway, and their immediate family members, are not eligible.
3. Giveaway dates
The giveaway opens on Tuesday 3 November 2026 at 7 pm GMT and closes on Tuesday 24 November 2026 at 7 pm GMT (2 pm Eastern Standard Time / 11 am Pacific Standard Time).
Entries received outside this period will not be included.
4. How to enter
To enter via the official Vintage Adornments Instagram giveaway post:
Follow the Vintage Adornments Instagram account.
Like the original giveaway post.
Leave a comment tagging at least one friend who might enjoy vintage hair accessories and telling me which style of hairpins you would choose.
To enter via the official Vintage Adornments Facebook giveaway post, leave a comment telling me which style of hairpins you would choose.
Facebook entrants are encouraged to follow, like, share and tag friends, but these actions are not compulsory and do not provide additional entries.
Entry limits
One valid entry per person per platform.
Entrants may enter once on Instagram and once on Facebook, for a maximum of two entries.
Multiple comments on the same platform do not create additional entries.
Automated, fraudulent or duplicate-account entries are prohibited.
No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win.
Purchasing from Vintage Adornments does not increase the chance of winning.
5. The prize
One winner will receive two pairs of handmade vintage hairpins from Vintage Adornments.
The winner may choose two pairs from the available hairpin designs listed on the Vintage Adornments website when the prize is claimed.
Each accessory is handmade from genuine vintage jewellery, and designs are one of a kind. The availability of any particular design cannot be guaranteed.
Photographs used in the giveaway promotion show examples of available styles.
The approximate total retail value of the prize is £90.
The prize has no cash alternative and cannot be exchanged for another product category.
6. Delivery
Both pairs of hairpins will be posted together to one delivery address in either the United Kingdom or United States.
Postage and applicable import duties or customs charges associated with delivering the prize will be covered by Vintage Adornments. The winner will not be asked to pay to receive their prize.
The prize will be dispatched within 14 calendar days of receiving the winner's confirmed selection and delivery details.
Delivery times may vary, particularly for international shipments.
7. Winner selection
There will be one winner across Instagram and Facebook combined.
All eligible entries from both platforms will be included in a single random draw.
The winner will be selected using a verifiably random process, with records kept to demonstrate fair selection.
Each valid entry has an equal chance of winning. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
8. Winner notification
The winner will be contacted by direct message from the official Vintage Adornments account on the platform through which their winning entry was submitted, within three days of the giveaway closing.
The winner will have seven calendar days to respond and confirm eligibility.
If no response is received, or the winner is ineligible, a replacement winner may be selected at random.
Vintage Adornments will never request bank details, payment or an administration fee to claim the prize.
9. Winner announcement
Once the winner has been confirmed, an announcement will be made on the Vintage Adornments Instagram and Facebook accounts.
Information confirming that a valid prize has been awarded will be made available on request, subject to applicable privacy requirements.
The winner may object to their identifying information being published or request that the information disclosed is limited. Information may still be provided to advertising regulators where required.
10. Personal information
Personal information collected for the giveaway will only be used to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, contact the winner, deliver the prize and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Delivery information will only be shared with relevant postal or delivery providers as necessary.
Entrants will not be added to marketing mailing lists as a result of entering.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Vintage Adornments privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.
11. Fair administration
Vintage Adornments reserves the right to disqualify fraudulent, automated or otherwise ineligible entries.
If circumstances genuinely outside the promoter's reasonable control prevent the giveaway from operating as planned, any necessary changes will be communicated clearly and administered fairly.
Nothing in these terms excludes any rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Social media disclaimer
This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook or Meta.
By entering, participants agree to release Instagram and Facebook from liability relating to the promotion, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
13. Acceptance of terms
By entering the giveaway, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
The terms will remain publicly accessible on the Vintage Adornments website throughout the promotional period.
